First off an apology to our subscribers who received an email announcing a bunch of new posts, only to discover that they were all old. I didn’t realize when I took down the old site yesterday and put up the new one, that Google’s FeedBurner service would see all the old posts as new. Oops!
And now, welcome to our new website!
For some time the old site hasn’t really been working for us, and besides being way too hard to maintain, two separate blogs weren’t really working for what we envision for this website. We found that we weren’t using it anymore, as you may have noticed, so Mary Beth and I decided to recreate the site as a single unified blog that we both post on, and where we also have more space to talk about all the other exciting things we’re doing. We also needed a new look, because the old Mistylook theme, though soothing and comforting, also seemed a little too dreary for where we are going
The technical process of moving all of our content from a multi-site version of WordPress to a single-site version and integrating it into a brand new theme was a little daunting, and a few things still don’t work right yet, but as you can see the new site went live yesterday and we will be adding to it and refining it over the next few days.
We are gearing up for a very exciting new year, so do stay tuned!
