This post was actually a new lesson on my Creatorship 101 website, but I posted it here by mistake. (The WordPress admin page looks the same on both sites…) When I realized my error I deleted it and posted it in the correct place, not realizing that it would still show up in the site’s RSS feed, and therefor in the email that some of you received this morning. Oops!

So, rather than having a 404 error when people click the link in the email, I’ve reactivated the deleted post and edited it with this note. The original message is rather profound, coming from a new place that I am just beginning to open, and you can read or listen to it here. Perhaps there are no mistakes after all!

For those of you who are on one of the mailing lists, or who would like to be, please bear with us. We’ll be changing how it works and combining the two lists from the old site into one list for this new site soon, and then we’ll put a new Subscribe box in the sidebar.

Blessings on your Becoming!

This entry is part 6 of 6 in the series Sacred Cows of the New Age

I’ve been learning a lot lately about what it really means to “be present,”  especially as I’ve been working through the intense doubts and fears that have come up during the creation of my new website, www.Creatorship101.com.

To be in the present moment is one of the most profound and important concepts of modern spirituality, and it is absolutely necessary if you want to be a conscious creator. But what does it mean?

When I hear people talking about being present they’re usually talking about time, and about not thinking about the past or the future. But that is absurd, and it is quite impossible and impractical whether you are a human or an angel.

The following message came through the other day, and really summarizes what I have learned:

This morning I awoke feeling that it would be nice to post a Christmas message on my blog. My soul agreed, and the resulting message about the real meaning of Christmas is below.

But first, it’s been a couple months since I’ve posted here, because at long last I’ve been busy writing a book! In fact it’s nearly complete, with only a chapter or two to go, and then a bunch of editing and learning how to publish it. Continue reading »

Even as I wrote my last post on How to Stop the Game of Lack, I knew I was missing something.  I could feel there was a deeper layer I hadn’t yet been able to grasp, and even as I wrote my list of dysfunctional beliefs that keep me loving the game, I could feel that I was missing the point.  There’s something even deeper than these I kept thinking, something that when I find it will make all of these irrelevant.  After a conversation with Mary Beth I finally saw what it was, and though I’ve barely scratched the surface so far, I’ll do my best to articulate it here. Yesterday I had a huge “aha” moment about something that troubles so many of us.  It was the New Year’s Eve webcast and channel from Adamus, and a questioner asked for—demanded really—some clear and practical tips on how to free ourselves from the financial lack that so many of us on the path of awakening struggle with.  I don’t remember the exact words from the profound exchange which followed, so I’ll just share what I learned from it in my own words here. (This is an edited version of an essay I wrote in late 2002, in response to discussion among friends of mine on a spiritual discussion forum of the recent terrorist attack in Bali.)

As I watch events unfolding in the world around me I am so grateful for a metaphor given by my non-physical friend and mentor, Tobias, in the first lesson of his excellent Creator Series, channeled through Geoffrey Hoppe of the Crimson Circle.  That lesson is entitled Accept All Things As They Are. (I wrote this essay in late 2002, as the United States was preparing for war in Iraq.)

In this time of turmoil and change, many people on Earth are mobilizing for what they consider to be another battle against darkness and evil.  Each side feels they are in the right, and that it is up to them to save the world. Continue reading »
